General Director of Armed Forces Medical Services. at the Saudi Ministry of Defense since January 2019. He is a consultant in emergency medicine, and a board member of both the Saudi Health Council since 2019, and the National Unified Procurement Company NUPCO since 2019. He held several positions, including Senior Adviser for Health Affairs in the Ministry of Defense Development Program in 2018, and Secretary General of Saudi Health Council in 2018, and Director of Health System Governance Reform in the Vision Realization Office in the Saudi Ministry of Health between 2017 and 2018, Consultant and supervisor of the Academy of Health Leadership in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties between 2017 and 2018. He also held several positions in health affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, namely: Emergency Medicine Consultant between 2006 and 2017, Executive Director of Quality and Patient Safety between 2014 and 2017, Director of Quality Management between 2008 and 2016, and Head of the Adult Care Department in the Emergency Medicine Department in King Abdullah City medicine between 2007 and 2010. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Saudi Patient Safety Center between 2017 and 2018, a member of the Executive Committee for the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Health Institutions CBAHI between 2014 and 2017, and Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences between 2013 and 2014. And Associate Dean of the College of Academic Affairs of Public Health and Health Informatics at the same university between 2010 and 2013. He holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa in the Federation of Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from King Saud University.
