Dr. Yasser I. Al Obaida

Yasser Alobaida is the CEO of Sudair Pharma Company, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has been the Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Pharmaceutical Industries at the Council of Saudi Chambers since March 2018. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Saudi Food and Drug Authority since October 2017, and a member of the Board of Trustees for the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions since 2006 Previously, he held several positions, including: General Director of Executive Affairs at Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh, Assistant General Director of Executive Affairs and Director of Quality Management in the same hospital, a member of the Board of Directors for the Saudi Scientific Association for Quality Performance and Risk Management in health institutions, and CEO of Medical Assets Company. He also served as a member of the advisory board of the Canadian Commission for the Recognition of Health Institutions, and a consultant for quality management at Tawuniya, a management consultant at Al Hammadi Hospital, and a medical legal adviser at CPC Office. He holds an American Fellowship for the Quality of Health Institutions, a Ph.D. in Hospital Administration and Quality Management in 2004 from the United States of America, and a master’s in clinical pharmacy in 1997 from King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
